1810 Napoleon zette Lodewijk af, Nederland hoort bij
Frankrijk.
1813 Willem Frederik (zoon stadhouder Willem v)
wordt koning van NL.
1814 NL wordt een constitutionele monarchie=
koninkrijk met grondwet.
1815 Napoleon verslagen
1814-1815 Congres Wenen, NL, België & Luxemburg,
worden één met Willem 1 als koning. Het wordt
een gecentraliseerde eenheidsstaat.
1830 Opstand België, Ingrijpen Willem 1 mislukt
1831 Tiendaagse veldtocht, Frankrijk grijpt in
1832 Verdrag van Londen, erkenning België
1839 Willem 1 ondertekend eindelijk het verdrag

Oprichting: 1602
Doel: Zoveel mogelijk winst maken
Opheffing: 1798
Reden: Handel over zee kwam stil te liggen.
De Java oorlog 1825 - 1830
Oorzaak: ontevredenheid van bevolking over NL bewing.
Aanleiding: opstand o.l.v. Dipo Negoro.
Afloop: Dipo Negoro werd verbannen.
Gevolgen: onbekend aantal doden, mede door hongersnood. 15.000 doden van Nederland.
