Assignment 1What is the TOP two (2) MOST important computer parts you would need to consider for
the team computers and why?
The first most important computer part is CPU. Indeed, the CPU is the brain of
the computer. Kind of like a human, without a brain, he can't live. He manages all
the functions of the computer such as memory, hard disk, graphics card etc. As a
processor, it must read each command one by one and then execute them
smoothly.
The second most important part is RAM. Precisely, RAM is crucial for a
computer. Without the latter, one cannot store information and data to open the
programs.
For these computer parts that you identified in the previous question, what general
specifications would you recommend and why?
For the CPU, it is important to have a minimum of 4 cores. If possible, to have 6,
8 or even more cores, it's even more wonderful. Because the more cores, the
easier it will be to handle several tasks at the same time, especially for the graphic
designer who use 3d rendering or video encoding. A 3d rendering will be faster
on a 8 core CPU compared to a quad-core or a 6 core.
For the RAM, having a minimum of 12 GB is enough to continue working on
animations and designs. But if you want something faster and that will last longer,
32 GB is even more wonderful. If we choose a higher CPU, it is better to choose a
higher RAM too since both together run faster. In addition, for the measure for the
clock speed, that is how many times per second the RAM can access the memory,
a minimum of 3400 MHz should be good enough but with a speed of 3600 MHz,
it will do a better trick. It is fast to quickly access different software and programs
in the computer.
