The paparazzi goes too far to tell their story!People who buy the newspaper are entitled to honest and useful information. Not to a
nice and coloured story in which the core or the problem is considered an
afterthought. Every day in dozens of countries, hundreds of pages are filled with
gossip and twisted stories about famous people. The magazines try to outwit each
other by publishing the most impressive photo or text. The question is, however, how
far the press and paparazzi can go to tell their story.
Can they go so far with gossip and fabricated stories that these people are wronged?
The media loses its original function; that of informing the public. They want to write
or tell only the most beautiful stories in order to make it a captivating piece. In this
way, newspapers and broadcasters lose their reliability and credibility. The biggest
cause of the increase in gossip and stories is competition and the pursuit of profit.
Competition in the commercial media world has made sales figures more important
than providing honest and reliable information. This press MUST take a subjective
view in order to keep a certain audience. It is really just a matter of self-interest.
Of course, everyone likes to read a bit of gossip from time to time. But do you have to
bother those people to get that one story? One time is fine, but it should not become a
habit (which it is now).
Another point is that there is a freedom of the press. They can say what they want
without being influenced by the government. This is of course a good thing, because it
allows us to see what is really happening in the world. Yet this is sometimes
misunderstood by the press. Many media think that this rule also means that you can
say anything you want about certain celebrities without any consequences. They don't
realise what the media can do to the feelings of celebrities. So what is more
important? You, not being bored for a moment, or someone who can just move freely
without any consequences/someone who just feels good about themselves instead of
bad because of all the negative attention.
My conclusion: I think that the paparazzi are now going too far to tell their story,
when you think of the paparazzi I have the image of a whole bunch of people with
their cameras lurking around a house and then waiting for that famous person to
come out or stand at the window. Then all those cameras flash and the person runs
