• Arteriën of slagaders

tussen cellen en bloed plaatsvindt
• Venen of aders
o Ontvangen bloed uit capillairen en voeren bloed terug naar

• Ligt in het mediastinum van borstholte
o Mediastinum = ruimte tussen beide longen begrensd door
borstbeen en wervelkolom
• Ligt vlak echter sternum
• Apex is naar linksonder georiënteerd
• Aan weerszijden van het hart liggen de longen
• Vorm van hart = stomp-kegelvormig
Hart heeft 4 compartimenten:
• Rechter atrium (rechter voorkamer of boezem)
o Ontvangt bloed uit grote bloedsomloop
• Rechterventrikel (rechterkamer
o Stuwt bloed naar de longen (kleine bloedsomloop)
• Linker atrium
o Ontvangt bloed vanuit longen (kleine bloedsomloop)
• Linkerventrikel
o Stuwt bloed naar orgaanstelsel (grote bloedsomloop)

holte & deze holte is bekleed door het
pericardium
Pericardium bestaat uit 2 lagen:
• Visceraal pericardium (epicardium)
o Bekleedt buitenste oppervlak van
het hart
• Pariëtaal pericardium
o Bekleedt buitenste oppervlak van
pericardium
De hartwand:
• Epicardium (visceraal pericardium) =
buitenste laag van hart
o Bestaat uit epitheel en onderliggend los
bindweefsel
• Myocardium = middelste laag
o Omvat het hartspierweefsel +bloedvaten en
zenuwen
• Endocardium = binnenste laag
o Bekleedt binnenkant hart en hartcellen
o Opgebouwd uit endotheel en bindweefsel
Inwendige anatomie en organisatie:
• Interatriaal septum
o scheidt de atria
• Interventriculair septum
o scheidt ventrikels
• Atrioventriculaire kleppen:
o Bevinden zich tussen atrium en ventrikel
o Zorgen ervoor dat bloed in 1 richting stroomt van atrium naar
ventrikel
