Werkcollege 41. Gemeente Nijmegen, ongeveer 185.000 inwoners, een stad liggend aan de Waal in de
buurt van de grens met Duitsland, de oudste stad van Nederland, heeft in het verleden
dorpen aangetrokken die nu onafscheidelijk van de Gemeente Nijmegen zijn geworden.

Het college bestaat uit een coalitie van GroenLinks, D66 en SP. De burgemeester van
Nijmegen, ook voorzitter van het college, is Hubert Bruls. Verder zijn er 6 wethouders.
3. Op de agenda stond allereerst een inspraak moment voor diverse onderwerpen, met
name thema’s als ruimtelijk ordening, onderwijs, geluidsoverlast en woningen
(woonwagenkamp). Daarna stonden achtereenvolgens de volgende hoofdonderwerpen op
de agenda: het Advies besluitvorming – Raadsvoorstel Bestemmingsplan Nijmegen Midden,
Advies besluitvorming - Raadsvoorstel Voortgangsrapportage Grote Projecten 2022,
Commissie GREX.
Besloten per hoofdonderwerp:
Het Advies besluitvorming – Raadsvoorstel Bestemmingsplan Nijmegen Midden
o Participatietraject moet beter (evaluatie nodig)
o Sociale en zorg woningen zijn nodig
o Toezegging wethouder Vergunst: meer natuur inclusief bouwen voorleggen
aan projectontwikkelaar.
Bestemmingsplan Dukenburg en Delegatiebesluit schoollocaties
o Zorgen: te weinig scholen in de toekomst
o Positief: eerste keer dat mittigratieplan (?) aanwezig is in het
bestemmingsplan voor het behoud van de biodiversiteit.
