Voor de zwangerschap
Stoppen met roken dit voorkomt vroeggeboorten, laag geboorte gewicht,
ontwikkelingsstoornissen en aangeboren afwijkingen.
Als je 1 pakje per dag rookt geeft dit 50% grotere kans op overlijden (7 mnd – 1
week na geboorte)
Door alcohol of drugs te gebruiken kan het kind het foetaal alcohol syndroom
(FAS) ontwikkelen.
Bij een tekort aan foliumzuur is de kans groter dat het kind verminderde
ontwikkeling van de neuraalbuis (openruggetje) heeft, spina bifida
(openruggetje), hartafwijkingen of een hazenlip (schisis) krijgt.
Tijdens de zwangerschap
1. ademhalingssnelheid + ademvolume neemt toe
2. Bloedvolume moeder wordt groter

Zorgt samen voor vorming van renine en EPO
3. behoefte aan voedingsstoffen neemt toe 20-30%.

6. Melkklieren worden groter (eind 6e maand volledig ontwikkeld)
