Hematopoëse
Waar komen de bloedcellen vandaan? – Beenmerg
Alle botten in je lichaam zijn hol van binnen. De holle ruimtes is opgevuld met beenmerg = roze
doorbloed weefsel, zitten allerlei stamcellen opgeslagen.
Stamcellen kunnen uitgroeien tot al onze verschillende bloedcellen.
De myeloïde stamcellen vertakken zich in wat uiteindelijk de erythrocyten en de trombocyten
worden. Dit doen ze onder invloed van cytokinen (multi-CSF en EPO).

Fysiologie
Doel van hemostase (bloedstolling): homeostase = het bewaren van evenwicht.
- Evenwicht tussen stolling en antistolling
- Risico op stolsels vs. risico op bloedingen
Het bloed moet niet te vloeibaar zijn want, op moment dat je een wondje hebt zou je helemaal leeg
bloeden. Maar het bloed moet ook niet te stroperig zijn want, dit kan zorgen voor stolsels/
bloedproppen in je bloedvaten.
Fasen
Het lichaam heeft daar drie fasen voor:
1. Primaire hemostase
- Aggregatie
- Daarbij klonteren de trombocyten voor een deel samen in het bloed en de vaatwand
die beschadigd is.
- Primaire hemostase wordt geactiveerd na schade aan een bloedvat.
2. Stolselvorming
- Coagulatie, stollingscascade
- Waarbij de samenklotering van trombocyten een vaste afdekking van de schade gaat
vormen.
3. Opruimen stolsel
- Fibrinolyse
