1. Summary of my book.
Het boek Not Above The Law gaat over de hoofdpersonage
George Keegan. Hij is een advocaat in Dublin in Ierland. In de
nacht wordt hij wakker en zijn handen zitten onder het
bloed. Hij heeft een grote hoofdwond en heel zijn dekens
zitten onder het bloed. Super snel gaat hij douchen en alles
opruimen. Hij kan zich niks herinneren van wat hij die avond
heeft gedaan. George kijkt op zijn telefoon en ziet dat hij in
de avond bij de bar was, met zijn vriendin Orla Quinn die ook
een advocaat is. maar zij is niet meer thuis. Hij Belde een
vriend genaamd Michael Sullivan die ook in de bar was die
avond , hij zij dat George en Orla om 11 uur vertrokken van de
bar. Dan kijkt hij op het nieuws en ziet hij dat ze een lijk uit
het water halen. Het is een vrouw van 27 en een advocaat. George raakt in
paniek want Orla zijn vriendin is ook 27 jaar en advocaat. Later zeggen ze op
de tv dat het Orla Quinn is. George raakt in paniek het kan toch niet dat hij
zijn eigen vriendin heeft vermoord. De politie staat meteen aan de deur om
vragen te stellen maar George kan zich niks meer herinneren van die avond.
Verder in het verhaal komen stukjes van zijn geheugen terug.
2. Describe a character.
The person I am describing is Geraldine Keane. She is a member of the group
FLAIR that means Free Life For Animals in Ireland. A couple of years ago
George helped the police to send them to jail because they burned a
farmhouse to the ground. Also they let all of the animals from the farm
loose. They walked everywhere in Dublin. Geraldine had to go to jail
together with other people from FLAIR. When she got taken to jail she said
when she got free she would kill George Keegan. At the moment she is out of
jail and living also in Dublin. I don’t like Geraldine because she did very bad
things and may do it again.
3. My opinion of the book.
My opinion of the book Not Above The Law is that I like the book because I
like to read books about horror or thriller also in dutch. This book is also a
thriller. The book is very exciting because every time George gets a little
memory back and gets a little closer to the truth.
