In this P I am going to show you what kind of marketing techniques the companies Audi and Coca
Cola are using on market products.
There are a few terms that I am going to explain to you:
- Product concept
- Sales concept
- Marketing concept
- Ansoff matrix
- Survival strategy
Product concept
This is where a business focuses on creating of scale in production and distribution of a product or
service. For example by Audi is there a team who makes the new cars, they have to change the whole
factory and sometimes they have to build a new one. And when the car is build they have to ship the
car to another city or country.
Sales concept
This is by many people known as the hard sell, where a product or service is produced and personal
selling and other high- pressure selling techniques are used to convince customers to part with their
money. For example the car of Audi is produced and now they want to sell it. They can sell in for
example on a car show, many car lovers with much money want to buy a new car, and maybe they
get a discount.
Marketing concept
The marketing concept put the customer at the centre of all decisions before the product or service
is developed. This can make a business more efficient, by focusing investment on products that
customers will need and use rather than investing in products that customers may not use.
