Abstract
This research was done to investigate the attitudes of young people towards COVID-
19 restrictions due to a reimplementation of restrictions on December 10th, 2021. A series of
interviews were completed by a group of researchers that gathered the perspectives of
chosen participant group. Transcripts of these interviews were then analysed using thematic
analysis for commonalities. From this, semantic themes were found throughout primarily the
themes of ‘compliance to guidance’ and ‘actions before guidance’.
