Luchtpijp = een buis waar alle zuurstof en koolstofdioxide uit stroomt.
Bronchiën = de vertakking tussen de linkerlong en de rechterlong.
Neusslijmvlies = het slijmvlies waarmee de binnenkant van de neusholte is
bedekt.
Neusharen = deze haren houden kleine stofdeeltjes binnen.
Reukzintuig = zit boven in de neusholte, dit keurt de binnen stromende lucht
en waarschuwt als er stinkende gassen in voorkomen.
Adams appel = de buiten gewerkte strottenhoofd die je bij mannen vooral ziet.
Stembanden = deze liggen in het strottenhoofd, deze gebruik je op het
moment dat je gaat praten.
Strotklepje = sluit de luchtpijp af op het moment dat je voedsel of drinken
binnen slikt.
Huig = sluit de neusholte af op het moment dat je voedsel of drinken binnen
slikt.
Bloed dat naar de longblaasjes stroomt is zuurstofarm en koolstofdioxiderijk.
