doorheen kan lopen.
Een stroomkring bestaat altijd uit:
• een spanningsbron die elektrische energie levert;
• verbindingen die de elektrische energie vervoeren (elektriciteitsdraden);
• een of meer apparaten die de elektrische energie verbruiken.
Een stroomkring kan ook een schakelaar bevatten waarmee je de stroomkring opent of sluit.
Door de ene stof stroomt elektriciteit gemakkelijker dan door de andere. Geleiders zijn stoffen waar
stroom gemakkelijk doorheen kan lopen. Bijvoorbeeld alle metalen. Isolatoren zijn stoffen die stroom
niet of heel slecht doorlaten. Bijvoorbeeld rubber, glas en plastic.
