they fulfil both the needs and requirements of the different visitor types. As well as this

suggesting improvements that could be made each of these attractions. The two
attractions I am going to be discussing are Chessington World of Adventures and The
Tower of London.

adventures-uk-theme-park/ and is a family orientated visitor attraction, therefore mainly
attracting families with both younger children (10 years and under) and families with old
children (13-17). However, it also attracts school groups by offering things such as: free
teacher tickets, free coach and minibus parking, a pre completed risk assessment for
safety, workshops to keep school groups entertained and more.

fresh air and delivers an opportunity to explore the range of rides they offer, both target
at younger children such as the Gruffalo ride, Elmer's flying jumbos, Tiny truckers and fast

rides for older children for example Kobra, Dragons Fury and the Vampire ride. Teenage
and older children are likely to come here if their family are going, but unlikely to come
here alone with friends, as there are not numerous fast rides, unlike Thorpe Park.
Visitor P3.
Although Chessington mainly appeals to families it still caters for the expectations of
individuals, overseas visitors and people with specific needs and is an attraction which s
all ages. By offering things such as: disabled changing places, wheelchair hire, mobility
scooter hiring, ride access pass, the online app offering different languages to suit
overseas/international visitors and catering for individuals by ensuring there is safety arou
the park and lockers for their belongings. https://www.chessington.com/plan-your-
visit/before-you-visit/accessibility-guide/
Families with younger children have different requirements and needs, in comparison to
families with older children. For example, a family with children under the age of 5 will
require things such as a baby changing area, nearby family parking a pushchair parking
area, play areas. Whereas older Children would most likely expect the visitor attraction
be WIFI accessible, access to food and drink etc.
