Voor onze opleiding Business Studies hebben wij voor het vak Financiële rapportage
de opdracht gekregen om een financieel rapport te maken. Wij kregen de keuze uit
een rij bedrijven en hebben uiteindelijk gezamenlijk gekozen voor het bedrijf BMW.
Dit hebben wij gekozen omdat iedereen het een interessant bedrijf vindt. Wij hebben
van tevoren een samenwerkingsovereenkomst gemaakt om afspraken vast te zetten.
Onze werkwijze is gezamenlijk online vergaderen zodat je elkaar kunt helpen waar
het nodig is. Dit project was erg leerzaam en wij willen dhr. Schilstra bedanken voor
de lessen en de feedback.
, Executive summary
The profile of the company has emerged in Chapter 1. An Ashridge mission model
has been used for this. BMW's mission, vision and objectives came from this. An
external analysis is made in Chapter 2. Here we look at the macro-environment
analysis, Meso-environment analysis and the five-force model of Michael Porter. A
fundamental analysis is then carried out in Chapter 3. This is where the graphs come
out and determine what we expect from BMW's financial figures for the year 2020.
Chapter 4 provides an evaluation of the Sustainable Development Goals. The fifth
chapter is about our forecast of BMW's financial situation in 2019 and 2020, and it is
compared with the actual data in 2019 and then we compare it with BMW's forecast
for 2020.
Chapter 6 is a SWOT-analysis. This analysis looks at BMW's strengths, weaknesses,
opportunities and threats. A confrontation matrix is then created from which the
strategic options emerge. As a final chapter, the conclusions and recommendations
of the preceding chapters are given. Finally, an investment advice is given.
