the more difficult it is to tighten. Looser
connections the smaller the cells become.
Astrocytes help tightening junctions to prevent
that large molecules enter the brain (protection
against chemicals but it also makes it difficult for
antibiotics (large) to cross the blood brain barrier). Astrocytes (cellen)
