Yeah, it's bad. I hear voices, people I don't know talking to me from inside my head. I can hear
them now too. I've been hearing them constantly.

This week they've been loud, and harsh. They kept telling me to do things I didn't want to. I just
wanted to make them stop so badly, it's scary when it's your own head, you know? I just
wanted to make them stop... I got help before and the voices quieted down. But they got worse
over this past week.

They're different every time. Male voices, female voices... Sometimes just one but it could be a
choir. They know how to get a rise from me, or how to get surprise from me. They get under my
skin, you know? They tell me to do things. Sometimes on a whim or sometimes they shout it at
me all night.

I've been in and out of psych wards about three times. First time was when I was 23, back
when I started hearing the voices. They were pretty bad back then, man. Since then it's been
ups and downs, you know? Came back in at 25 and 26 when the voices got too loud, even
through the medication.

Sometimes it's small. Lately though, they mostly are about dying. They tell me to take whole
bottles of pills. I know about them, and I know they're not real... but they wear on me.
