At the beginning of each topic, I first cover the different
examples by first showing you the necessary notes
followed by worked examples that cover all the different
concepts and exam style question and answer scenarios
you could encounter. After this, the worked solutions
shown are from actual A-Level Edexcel past papers.
Anything scribbled in red on any of the worked solutions
was done to obstruct writing or working out from other
questions on the same written page. You can also ignore
things like Ex27). written before the Worked Examples as
those were written in the context of a certain resource used
to find the below questions. The different topics will be
highlighted in red, and below this will be all the relevant
notes, examples and worked exam solutions.
If you see something like (3.sf) or (3.dp) after an answer,
these just mean ‘to three significant figures’ and ‘to three
decimal places’ respectively.

I recommend you go through the notes provided in detail
first and make an effort to understand the concepts being
conveyed, then look at the examples provided and again
make an effort to grasp an understating of the
step-by-step approach to solving the problem, if it is still
not clear, try watching youtube videos on the topic to gain
a greater understanding of the concept. Once this is all
clear, solve the example problems yourself and make sure
you get the right answer (the same answer as on the
worked examples provided). Then answer the exam-style
worked solutions yourself before checking the answers
provided. Once you have a decent understanding of the
topic and can answer questions, you must practise as this
is the key to success in Mathematics (and many other
subjects), I recommend the use of Physics and Maths
Tutor as a fantastic resource when it comes to finding
