eyelid margins causes symptoms of irritation
MGD results when the condition affects the inside rims of the
eyelids which contain the meibomian glands:
they produce a thin layer of oil which prevents tears from evaporating quickly and keeps
the lids lubricated however it can become blocked and cause dysfunction
