SCENE ESSAI AXEL CHALLES et ADAM JEUNE-------
INT/JOUR – LYCEE GUERCHES/INFIRMERIE – ANNEE 2003
A l’infirmerie du lycée, Adam adolescent se fait soigner, puis
il file derrière les paravents où des banquettes ont été
installées pour se reposer. Il s’arrête net : Axel, de dos,
couché sur le côté, repose sur une des deux banquettes.
Un peu intimidé, Adam s’installe sur la banquette libre et, sans
un bruit, sort un livre de son sac, « Bérénice » de Racine. Il
fait semblant de lire tout en jetant des regards vers Axel. Mais
celui-ci, qui ne dormait pas, se tourne vers lui.
AXEL (montrant le livre)
C’est quoi ?
Adam lui tend son livre.
ADAM
On doit l’étudier. On va la jouer avec la prof de
français.
Axel attrape le livre, commence à le feuilleter.
AXEL
C’est bien ?
ADAM
C’est magnifique.
Axel le regarde, surpris par cette affirmation soudainement très
assumée.
AXEL
Pourquoi ?
Adam hésite, cherche ses mots, puis se lance d’un coup.
ADAM (exalté, à fond)
Dans les pièces de Racine, les personnages essaient
toujours d’être fidèles à leurs sentiments et à leurs
devoirs mais ils n’y arrivent jamais, ils sont toujours
dépassés par ce qu’ils ressentent…
On sent qu’Axel écoute, attentif, intrigué. Puis Axel s’arrête
sur une page au hasard.
