Bovenste spronggewricht

- Onvermogen tot belasten (4 stappen zonder hulp)
- Pijn aan de dorsale of caudale zijde van de laterale
malleolus
- Pijn aan de dorsale of caudale zijde van de mediale
malleolus
- Pijn bij palpatie van de basis van os metatarsale V
- Pijn bij palpatie van het os naviculare
Onderzoek van de enkel
- Actief en passief bewegingsonderzoek
- Kan de voet worden belast?
- Is er daarbij pijn, angst of giving way (gevoel van instabiliteit van de enkel, gevoel dat je je
enkel snel weer verzwikt)?
- Kan op één been worden gestaan met gesloten ogen (maakt het houden van balans nog
moeilijker)?
- Zijn evenwichtsreacties tijdens lopen en stand gelijk voor beide benen?
Acute zwelling: Na enkele dagen:
Hoeveel schade is er?
- Distorsie (= ‘strain’):
Goede belastbaarheid, geringe zwelling en pijn.
Geen hematoomverkleuring
Negatieve voorste-schuifladetest
- Partiele ruptuur (= ‘sprain’) of totaalruptuur:
Pijn bij palpatie voorzijde laterale malleolus

Hematoomverkleuring OF positieve voorste-schuifladetest
