, Theme 1: Insight
De uitwerkingen van Exam Prep zijn opgenomen bij de oneven thema’s.
A
1 Example key:
1 The fact that you are able to think can be seen as proof that you exist, for if
you didn't exist, you wouldn't be able to produce any thoughts.
2 You can think of a blue sea that changes colour, from blue to green to red etc.
In the real world that isn't possible.
3 The fact that you think about things makes them thinkable. If you can think of
things that are unthinkable, you have already thought about them. However,
it's difficult to think about how eternity works, which might be a case of an
unthinkable concept.

3 'We think about an incredible variety of things' (paragraph 2)
4 'it may be that, paradoxically, undirected thought is when we get our best
thinking done' (paragraph 3)
5 'while we do have some control over the direction of our thoughts, that
control is far from unlimited'
