, I graduated in Hotel Management 2018-2021, in that course there was a module
Human Resource Management where I hear about this. When I was doing training
during my graduation (Hyatt Regency). I learned about many things regarding a
Human Resources job role like workforce planning, training, and development for
upcoming staff, conducting interviews, etc. Previously my knowledge about this
course is only that they are responsible for hiring that is it. When I started doing
Human Resource Management (HRM) in Middlesex all my myths and doubts were
clear. At that point, I learn about the whole structure and scenario of this course and
the HR practitioner role.
However, the start of the MA In Human Resource Management has awakened me to
know about the alignment of human resource strategy and the
organizational/business issues they face to achieve their respective aims and goals.
This also developed me to know about the personal and professional life challenges
that I face. I am sharing my personal experience that I face, during my hotel
internship (Hyatt Regency) the senior chef mentally disturbed me during my shift my
mistake is only that I fill a chocolate shake neck after that incident he made my life
trouble, I take the action and go to HR manager tell this incident she takes my favor
and the chef was suspended and issued the warning letter (2019). this reflects the
adult state (TA) (Barne,1996).
For Instance, my knowledge about the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development
(CIPD) is not too much, after getting to know about (CIPD Map) helped me to
understand human behavior, and people's practice, outcomes-driven & develop
ethical values to be a good HR practitioner, and also, I attended online CIPD Induction
(Oct 2022) where my knowledge is become more refined, in which industry experts
are taking session so it has become more relatable to understand the current
problem of people and organization. Many modules are new to study and still
understanding e.g., metrics, rewards, principles of people development, and how
these are used in industries and useful as HR practitioners. I am still figuring out to
make sure to understand and learn the basic values of each module.
CIPD Profession Map, (2022) also improved my learning and benchmark for making
decisions. For example, my experience in workshops in class involved me being part
of a different group where I saw human people's behavior involvement and outcome
drive those moments for a case study and helped me with personal communication
skills this gained my learning in a short time which helped me in upcoming seminars. I
can relate to the Transactional Analysis (TA) (Barne,1996) set here in this case. I
started interactions with students in class workshops. In class debate ego state,
(Adult State) (TA) is seen here every student is giving and sharing thoughts and also
