• Insertie: verloopt naar de tuberculum minus
• Functie: endorotatie
→ gaat de humerus naar endorotatie draaien
• Innervatie: n. subscapularis
• Bursa subtendinea m. subscapularis:
Slijmbeurs, dicht bij de insertie gelegen tussen spier en gewrichtskapsel.
Ze staat in verbinding met de gewrichtsholte via een opening in het
kapsel: zwakke plaats!
