kleinere subculturen. Deze kunnen zich naast elkaar bevinden in de maatschappij of overkoepelende
dominante cultuur.
Belangrijke definitie:
Cultuur is de collectieve mentale programmering van een groep die deze onderscheidt van andere
groepen. Het is immaterieel. Het gaat om ons gedrag en hoe we met materiaal omgaan en niet het
materiaal zelf. Er zijn ook subculturen:
n Etnische culturen (b.v. Turks, Surinaams)
n Regio (Friesland)
n Stad of platteland
n Geloof (Pinkstergemeente)
n Sociale klasse (Hagenaren en Hagenezen)
