S (Science/wetenschap): TP’er doen onderzoek om echte problemen van echte mensen te
begrijpen. Bijvoorbeeld: onderzoek naar eenzaamheid onder jongeren, diagnostisch
onderzoek, enz.;

, T (technology/ technologie): TP’er lossen de problemen op voor mensen. Technologie is
steeds vaker de oplossing of is er onderdeel van. Bijvoorbeeld: VR in de zorg;

E (engineering/ programmeren) TP’er werken samen, ook met mensen uit de technische
hoeken. Bijvoorbeeld: TP’er kunnen helpen bij het vormgeven van de inhoud van serious
games;

M (mathematics/ wiskunde): TP’er maken gebruik van data om nieuwe inzichten op te doen.
Bijvoorbeeld: TP’er kunnen data van twitter gebruiken om te onderzoeken hoe mensen over
de avondklok denken;
