ways. Technology use in education has grown throughout the years. Currently, higher
education institutions are going through a surge of technology use since the normal way of
teaching and learning has changed drastically due to the Covid-19 pandemic. However, we
need to take into considerations the positive and negative effects that comes with technology
use in education, especially with students’ learning.

Technology affects our students' education in both positive and negative ways. On the positive side,
technology can provide our students with access to more information and resources than ever before. It
can also help them to stay connected with their peers and to get feedback and help from their teachers
more easily. On the negative side, technology can be a distraction, and it can also be used to cheat or
plagiarize.
Ideas for incorporating technology in a positive way include using it to supplement and support learning,
using it to provide more personalized and individualized instruction, and using it to make learning more
engaging and interactive.
1. Utilize technology to create engaging and interactive lesson plans.
2. Use technology to differentiate instruction and meet the needs of all learners.
3. Use technology to assess student learning and identify areas of need.
