2.1cCT1: bouw en werking
Computertomografie, het beeld is in plakjes.
CT bevat ook een röntgenbuis, detector en generator.
1e generatie: translatie rotatie, single detector
2de generatie: translatie rotatie, meerdere detectoren
3de generatie: rotatie – rotatie, detector rij
4de generatie: rotatie – vast, vaste ring met detectoren

Hoeveelheid detector elementen aanstralen, wordt binnen de CT collimatie
genoemd
Uit buisvenster tredende röntgenbundel wordt beperkt door het diafragma.
Bepaald in de z-richting hoeveel detector-rijen aangestraald worden.
64x0,625 mm = 64 slices met een detector grootte van 0,625 mm
128x0,5 mm = 128 slices met een detector grootte van 0,5 mm
