Boer’n Yoghurt Bosvruchten
Tijdens deze opdracht ga ik de traceerbaarheid van het product Boer’n Yoghurt, van
de Zuivelhoeve in de smaak bosvruchten onderzoeken. Ik ga kijken in hoeverrre het
product te traceren is.
De Zuivelhoeve is een boerderij en bevindt zicht in het Twentse dorpje Twekkelo, het
bedrijf is eigendom van de familie Roerink. Ze maken de producten met hun eigen
melk zelf op de boerderij, inmiddels hebben ze een groot assortiment en zijn ze op
veel plekken te koop.
Het product Boer’n yoghurt in de smaak bosvruchten is een stevige yoghurt met
onderin een laagje bosvruchten. Het product zit in een emmer.
Op sites van de NVWA heb ik gevonden dat sinds 2002 binnen de Europese Unie
verplicht is om te waarborgen dat alleen veilige levensmiddelen op de markt komen.
Hierbij is ook verplicht de traceerbaarheid verplicht gesteld. De producenten moeten
in staat zijn om de herkomst en bestemming van hun producten vast te stellen en ze
moeten informatie beschikbaar kunnen stellen aan autoriteiten. Van elke schakel in
de handelsketen moet bekend zijn waar de grondstoffen of producten vandaan
komen en aan wie vervolgens is geleverd.
