= Proliferatie en differentiatie van myeloïde/ granulocytaire celreeks uitgaande van de multipotente
hematopoëtische stamcel tot de rijpe granulocyten.( neurtrofiel, eosinofiel, basofiel)
2.1.1 Beenmerg
Van myeloblast- promyelocyt- myelocyt- metamyelocyt- staafkernige- segmentkernige granulocyt
2.1.2 perifeer compartiment
- circulerende pool= perifeer bloed
- marginale pool= gebonden aan vaatwand-> neutrofiele gran hier het meeste in weefsels zelf
