Sportpsychologie
is
de
wetenschappelijke
studie
van
mensen

Historische
perspectief
Van
1893
tot
1920
was
de
wetenschap
in
ontwikkeling.
In
deze
periode
werden
de
eerste
experimenten
afgenomen.
Een
hiervan
was
die
van
Triplett,
hij
kwam
erachter
dat
mensen
in
groepen
of
in
tweetallen
harden
fietsten
dan
individuen.
Van
1921
tot
1938
kwamen
de
eerste
boeken
uit
en
ontstonden
er
laboratoriums
voor
sportpsychologie.
Van
1939
tot
1965
werd
het
wetenschappelijk
veld
groter
en
ontwikkelde
het
zich
verder.
Ook
werden
in
deze
periode
de
eerste
toepassingen
uitgevoerd
(onder
boksers
en
piloten).
Van
1966
tot
2000
is
de
sportpsychologie
meer
een
zelfstandige
discipline
geworden.
Er
zijn
meer
toegepaste
sportpsychologen
en
de
wetenschap
wordt
steeds
serieuzer
genomen.
In
Rusland
is
ontzettend
veel
onderzoek
gedaan
naar
de
sportpsychologie.
Vooral
door
Puni,
hij
was
eigenlijk
zijn
tijd
al
ver
vooruit.
Helaas
was
dit
archief
slecht
toegankelijk
omdat
alles
in
het
Russisch
werd
gepubliceerd.
Later
werd
ook
Roudik
actiever.
Hij
startte
in
1925
het
eerste
laboratorium
voor
sportpsychologie
in
de
Sovjet-‐Unie.
In
2013
was
er
een
conferentie
in
China
waarbij
700
deelnemers
waren
uit
70
landen,
de
interesse
neemt
dus
blijkbaar
toe.
Echter
is
de
werkgelegenheid
nog
schaars.
VSPN
De
VSPN
is
de
Vereniging
SportPsychologie
Nederland.
Officieel
mag
je
jezelf
alleen
sportpsycholoog
noemen
als
je
de
opleiding
van
de
VSPN
hebt
afgerond
omdat
nog
niet
alle
opleidingen
bij
deze
bond
staan
aangesloten.
Echter
kost
deze
opleiding
15.000
euro
waardoor
het
heel
exclusief
blijft.
Wetenschap
