According to Chapter one of the book 21Century Skills: Critical Thinking and the process of actively seeking to Problem Solving, Critical thinking is defined as, "understand, analyzing, and evaluating the importance or significance of information," (Abitheira, 7) Critical thinking is an important skill that goes beyond just being logical. It also requires you to be able to analyze the situation at hand and then make a decision that is best for you. Critical thinking is essential in the job search process, especially when looking for a career match. When analyzing a potential job position, you should consider whether this type of work will suit your personal interests and goals, as well as whether it aligns with your strengths and weaknesses.
