De functie van het hart is het rondpompen van bloed door het
lichaam. Het hart is een pomp, het moet tegengehouden dat
het niet terug stroomt en doorgelaten worden.
Zitten in de aorta, als het hart tijdens systole knijpt moet het
in de grote bloedvaten komen en ontspant het hart en zijn de
kleppen ervoor dat het bloed tegengehouden wordt.
Je hebt de kleine en de grote bloedsomloop. De kleine
bloedsomloop gaat vanuit het hart naar de longen en terug
naar het hart.
De grote bloedsomloop gaat vanuit het hart door de rest van het lichaam terug
naar het hart.
Linkerkant: brengt naar het lichaam toe , zuurstof rijk
Rechter: brengt naar de longen toe, zuurstof arm
Diastole: is de fase waarin het hart zich ontspant en zich volzuigt met bloed.
Ventrikels vullen met bloed.
Tijdens diastole:
Systole: is de fase waarin de kamers van het hart contraheren (samentrekken).
Ongeveer 40% van het bloed blijft achter na de systole.
