This is the first time in this program we had an assignment like this. I was happy this was in tegrated into this course. When I studied for the National Council of State Boards of Nursing and the American Nurses Credentialing Center National Medical Surgical certification, I utilized practice questions as my main study tool. I completed the one - hundred questions in two parts, dividing the questions into fifty questions for two separate days. Within the one -hundred questions, I got sixteen incorrect, giving me a total score of eighty -four percent. I am not thrilled with the score, but I am happy we had this assignment because now I can use this as a gauge to perform better in the future. This practice question assignment will serve as the beginning of an action plan to help me track my goals, tasks, and progress. Content Area Strengths The one -hundred practice questions covered topics such as pharmacology, disease processes, etc. Looking back at the questions I got correct, it does not seem that I got a specific type of question correct. I did notice that between the two days I performed differently. The first fifty questions, I completed at my house, and the second fifty questions I completed at the library. The first fifty questions I got more wrong compared to the second fifty questions. I think this is because I was distracted being a t home with my family cooking and television. When I was at the library, I was alone with earplugs in my ears. I was able to focus and concentrate on the questions better.
