Terwijl ik mijn verslag doorlees op een laatste taalcorrectie, verbaas ik mezelf
over wat ik de afgelopen weken heb geleerd. Waar ik voorheen naar een
jaarverslag keek als een document met te veel tekst en cijfers zonder logica,
ben ik nu in staat deze te doorgronden. Veel medestudent verklaarden mij voor
gek dat ik als student toegepast psychologie, vrijwillig een keus maakte voor
het volgen van zicht op cijfers. Persoonlijk heb ik met veel plezier gewerkt aan
het beroepsproduct. Ik ben van mening dat een goed leidinggevende, oog heeft
voor de mens maar ook kan begrijpen wat de bedrijfseconomische gevolgen zijn
van besluitvorming.
Een goede beslissing is gebaseerd op kennis en niet op cijfers.
