In de marketing is er soms sprake van onethisch gedrag. De grenzen worden dan opgezocht van

zoals stereotypering, kwetsbare groepen als doelgroepen gebruiken…
- Deontologische benadering= focus op de plichten, een aantal zaken zijn goed of fout
- Teleologische benadering= focus op de gevolgen
