You get an opportunity to work in the cellphone sales department of a retail
store as an intern. Upon recording a sale in a spreadsheet they use, you realise
the data capturing is not done correctly. The date data is recorded in different
formats and incorrectly recorded sales figures. It is difficult to read the recorded
sales figures with no currency symbol. You decide to use your Excel skills to
create a sales spreadsheet that brings meaning to the recorded sales. Below is
the table containing the recorded sales.
Required:
1.1 Create a sales spreadsheet the company can use to record the sales in the correct
date format and currency values. (3 marks)
1.2 Calculate the total sales recorded (3 marks)
