- Rekening houden met de tijdwaarde van geld: actualiseren
- Corrigeren voor risico: de actualisatievoet moet rekening houden met het gelopen risico.
Hoe hoger het risico, hoe hoger de actualisatievoet.
- Objectief criterium
- Het mechanisme moet aangeven hoeveel waarde er gecreëerd moet worden.
Dit moet duidelijk aangegeven worden door de beslissing.
Opmerking: Hoe groter de kapitaalkost, hoe kleiner de netto actuele waarde.
