1.1. (b) A functionalist theorist would explain 'class' as a necessary component

based system rewards those who work hard and contribute the most. Examples
of functionalist theorists include Emile Durkheim and Talcott Parsons.
1.2. The two types of citizenship education are active citizenship education and
passive citizenship education.
Active citizenship education involves teaching learners how to be actively
involved in society, including participating in elections, volunteering, and
advocacy. It emphasizes the importance of taking responsibility for one's
actions and making positive contributions to society.
Passive citizenship education, on the other hand, encourages learners to be
obedient to the rules and laws of society without necessarily encouraging them
to actively participate in decision-making processes. This approach teaches
learners the rights and responsibilities of being a citizen without emphasizing
the need for active engagement in society.
In my opinion, the active citizenship education approach is the best one for
learners. This is because it teaches learners the skills and knowledge they need
