✓ Es la reducción de la vida media de los hematíes (vida media
normal: 120 días).
✓ Por lo que la respuesta medular compensatoria es insuficiente

reticulocitosis, hiperplasia eritroide (los eritrocitos se rompen y
la medula intenta suplir creando más) (MO),
hiperbilirrubinemia (Bilirrubina indirecta), haptoglobina
disminuida, DHL aumentada, hemoglobinuria en hemolisis
intravascular (sanguínea).
✓ El test de COOMBS será +; OJO: siempre y cuando la anemia
hemolítica sea inmune.
✓ Si no hay síntomas aun con una Hb baja, no se trata.

Anemias hemolíticas adquiridas
✓ Hiperesplenismo:
-Exclusión, citopenias.
-Esplenomegalia
-En estos casos se debe buscar la causa
responsable del hiperesplenismo y dar
Anemias hemolíticas inmunes tratamiento a la causa subyacente.
✓ En este caso los anticuerpos irán contra antígenos eritrocitarios.
