Hyperplasie verhoogde groei, meer celdeling.
Atrofie de cellen nemen in volume en aantal af.
Hypertrofie cellen nemen in volume toe.
Metaplasie cellen krijgen ander uiterlijk, is reversibel, door alcohol of roken
bijvoorbeeld.
Displasie irreversibele cel verandering, leidt vaak tot necrose of apoptose.
Cellulaire schade
Membraan gaat bobbelen, kern klonteren,
mitochondriën en ER worden groter. Dit kan
hersteld worden maar kan ook leiden tot de
progressie van de verschijnselen en krijg je
necrose (fragmentatie van het cel membraan en
de nucleus). Functie van de cel verdwijnt heel
snel bij cel schade, maar er is dan nog maar
weinig te zien aan de cel.
Mechanismen van cel schade: ATP daling,
mitochondriële schade, influx van heel veel Ca,
ROS verhoging (reactieve stoffen), membraan
schade (plasma membraan of lysosoom
membraan), eiwit mis-vouwing en DNA schade
(laatste twee door verandering zuurgraad).
