Name: Carolina Ferreira M1
Unit 1

M1 Assess the relationship and communication with stakeholders of two contrasting
businesses using independent research.
1 Introduction
Tesco’s website exists to allow the customers and consumers to see what Tesco’s is offering
and selling. Cranford’s website goal is to inform students and parents about any upcoming
events, any changes to the curriculum and to the term dates and to also inform the students
of what could be happening. For example, in Cranford’s website there is a banner at the top
in red so that people do not miss out anything important.
2 Findings
There is a clear purpose to Tesco’s website. It promotes efficient communication, so it keeps
customers up to date on everything that is new and happening, so they can always get in
touch. A strong point of Tesco’s business is their website, as first-time customers might
check it out before shopping at Tesco to see what Tesco has to offer. Since the main
stakeholder is their customers, Tesco's will do everything it can to keep their stakeholders
satisfied, so they want to maintain contact with their key stakeholders. Tesco's goal is to
surpass all their competitors and remain the market leader, so this will help them achieve
their objectives.
The Tesco mobile app is one of the website's strongest features. Hundreds of thousands of
people now shop online for food and clothing on their phones now that most people use
their phones for everything. This supports effective communication since more people are
using their phones to do everything on them. Customers can purchase phones from Tesco
using the app. The new iPhone 14 offers more help to Tesco customers, so they sell the
latest phones. A company's key stakeholders are its customers, which is why maintaining a
relationship is important. They will be able to keep their stakeholders happy if they stay on
top of what they do and what their customers desire. Since Tesco will remain number one in
retail, it will assist them in meeting their goals and objectives.
Tesco's website has a weakness because of high customer expectations. The website does
not support effective communication because, as customers, we always want everything
exactly when we want it, so we might feel a little disappointed not to be able to find out the
prices of the products that Tesco's offers on the website. It helps to maintain a relationship
with their key stakeholders because most of their customers always look at the prices on
the website and to see if they can afford it. the prices on the website and to see if they can
afford it. It will assist Tesco in meeting their goals and objectives since they wish that their
customers to be happy so that they can increase their profits.
A weakness of Tesco’s website is search can be unpredictable. It does not support effective
communication because as customers try to find what Tesco’s is selling and what is on sales
the search button does not understand what the customers are looking for, this does not
help Tesco’s maintain a good relationship with their customer’s. If they are always striving
to find ways to do what their customers desire, they will be able to maintain a relationship
with their key stakeholders. It will assist Tesco in meeting their goals and objectives since
