o Afhankelijke = interval meetniveau
o Je toetst het gemiddelde
Kenmerken
o Betrouwbaarheidsinterval berekenen
o Effectgroote = Cohen’s d (met de hand)
o SPSS gaat uit van een tweezijdige toets tweezijdige overschrijdingskans.
Eenzijdig toetsen significantieniveau door 2 delen, al vergelijk je hem wel
met een alpha van 0,05 (dit blijft het zelfde)
Toets is significant als de toetsingsgrootheid groter is dan de kritieke t-waarde
Voorwaarden
o N > 30
o Of N < 30 mits de populatie normaal verdeeld is controleren met histogram &
boxplot
Histogram + skewness
o Analyze discriptive statistics frequencies
o Charts histogram show normal curve of histogram
o Statistics interval (gem) + standaard divinatie
o Statistics skewness bij benadering is deze normaal verdeeld als hij tussen de -1
en de +1 zit zegt of hij naar links of naar rechts afwijkt voorwaarde N > 100
Boxplot + skewness in 1 keer
o Analyze discriptive statistics explore
o Dependent list variabelen waarvan je de extreme waarden en scheefheid wilt
weten.
o Statistics descriptives & outliers
o Plots grafieken opvragen (bij boxplot is dat automatische)
Extreme waarde zijn aangegeven met een * en de uitbijters (outliers) met een O. Tel het aantal
respondenten vanaf de eerste * tot de laatste *. Soms zijn er alleen O, dit zijn dan gewoon de
extreme scoren.
Rapportage
o Scheefheid (skewness = ..., SE = ...,)
o Extreme waarden er blijken .... respondenten te zijn die extreem ..... : waarde van
het extreme. Daarnaast zijn er een aantal respondenten die ook opvallend hoog
scoren, waarde van de outliers
