,Hello and welcome to my presentation.
Today we will be talking about digital animation including the purposes of different
animation, the legal requirements that apply as well as the principles of techniques
when it comes to animation as a whole and effects used within animation, and how
these impact the process and product of animation.

, There are many applications that animation can be used for with the main uses being;
- Marketing - Animation is a great way for businesses to portray their products,
especially in a fun way, or to show their product in a light they could not do
with live action footage.
- Education - Animation is a great means to portray information, especially as
certain animations can be more appealing to children.
- Animation can also be used to illustrate theoretical concepts in a easy,
simplified visual manner.

- Used for design purposes in engineering and interior design - is a useful way
to illustrate how products will, or may look before they are created and without
having to create physical prototypes.
- Can allow for changes to be recognised early in a project without a lot
of investment into actually implementing said project(animations for
this purpose are usually done fairly early in a project’s life cycle)

- Virtual and augmented reality - Animation is a must for AR and VR as a
fundamental part of them is immersion, animation allows for better immersion
in the same way it does in movies and other video media

- Entertainment such as games and movies - again animation is a key aspect of
these types of media for immersion.
