Hoe kan je klinisch ICP meten zonder enige meetinstrumenten?
- Door de pupillen te bekijken en GSC, je ziet verwijde pupillen ofwel mydriase
- Als een oogzenuw wordt geduwd dan kan hij geen signaal meer geven, dus
de pupil trekt niet meer samen (signaal dat er licht te zien is)
- Ze zijn ook niet licht reactief (licht stijf)

Formule cerebrale perfusie: CPP = MAP – ICP
62 - 20 = 42
CPP normaal is tss 65-70mmHg
Normale ICP: <10mmHg
ICP overdruk <20mmHg
ICP serieuze overdruk: >40mmHg
Als je ICP niet weet op examen: ervan uitgaan dat het 20 is
Als je de RR wilt verlagen bij ICP overdruk moet je Ca-antagonisten geven
Als je de RR wilt verhogen bij ICP overdruk moet je noradrenaline geven – dit
stimuleert alpha en niet beta receptoren – dus enkel gaat de RR stijgen en geen
tachycardie
