Abstract:
This paper presents my contributions to the development of a tremor sensor designed to identify the
frequency and amplitude of a tremor. This was achieved using a 3D accelerometer which can be
strapped to an object or arm. The device was tested using a tremor simulation device that was
developed alongside the sensor. Data from the sensor was processed using MATLAB and converted
into graphs showing frequency and amplitude. Reflections on the project are included throughout
along with changes needed to take the device to market.
