The purpose of this Portfolio is to prepare education-and-training practitioners to teach effectively in
any educational situation.
You have learned various aspects of teaching, and you need to submit the final evidence of what you
have achieved during 2023.
Link to the module: This is a summative, integrated assessment. We assume you have studied the
prescribed material and can apply what you learned.

Instructions for the ISC3701 Portfolio
Create ONE document that contains all the elements of your Portfolio. Please use PDF files only
when you submit on myUnisa.
YOUR PORTFOLIO MUST INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
This section requires the students to demonstrate basic skills such as organising the work by including
the table of content; some of the skills are required for future teachers. This section will also assist
the reader/marker in understanding your readiness and competence to be a teacher.
1. A cover page (neat and well-designed).
2. A table of contents (TOC) (2)
3. A short biography to introduce yourself to the reader (max 100 words). (3)
4. A teaching statement describing your teaching beliefs, practices, and learning process (300 words).

A. MARKED ASSIGNMENTS
1.1 Write your reflections on the 2023 marked assignments, discussions, and interactions between
you as the student & the module lecturer. Describe your overall experience of online learning and the
ISC3701 module. There must be evidence of reflection and growth in the Portfolio. These reflections
also mean looking at your entire practice as a teacher. This is very important if you are to develop
holistically.
