You are an English-speaking, soon to be qualified, teacher. You are doing
your teaching practice at Waterfall Primary School in the Grade R class. It is
an English home language school.

languages.

2.1.Explore your creativity and plan some exciting activities to promote this
topic and discuss ideas, methods, and activities, visual resources, actions,
paint/draw, hand or body signals, dramatisations, role-play – in fact, any way
possible to enhance these learners’ language and increase their vocabulary in
English.
2.2. Discuss at least ten ways of teaching learners the language. Your ideas
do not have to be related to one of the CAPS subjects. It could be general,
such as a learner asking you for water.
