§1.1 Plaats bepalen
Plaats:
Afstand ten opzichte van een gekozen vast punt (kan positief en negatief zijn)
Verplaatsing:
Afstand tussen de beginplaats en de eindplaats
-> ∆𝑥 = 𝑥𝑒𝑖𝑛𝑑 − 𝑥𝑏𝑒𝑔𝑖𝑛
Afgelegde weg:
Afstand die je in totaal hebt afgelegd

§1.2 Snelheid: verandering van plaats
Snelheid is de totale verplaatsing per tijdseenheid. Om de snelheid van een voorwerp te bepalen, bepaal
je op verschillende tijdstippen de plaats van een voorwerp. De verhoudingen tussen de plaats en tijd kan
worden weergegeven door een (x,t)-diagram te maken.
Met dit (x,t)-diagram kun je twee soorten snelheden bepalen:

De grootheid versnelling geeft aan hoe snel de snelheid van een voorwerp verandert. Om de versnelling te
berekenen moet je eerst weten wat de snelheid van een bepaald voorwerp is.
