Music is one of the most universal ways of expression and communication
and is present in the everyday lives of people of all ages and from all cultures.
Music is very important for preserving culture and history.
Many studies concerning the bene ts of musical activity
For example
- They show that listening to music you like triggers a release of dopamine in the brain
- This happiness chemical, which is also released when you eat or exercise, boosts your mind
- It brings people together in many ways, for instance singing together at karaoke
- But it’s also important for them who do music to pay for their living
Even in the corona time, music become more and more important, especially through the self-
isolation which causes loneliness. In this case, music can help you feeling better.

The global music industry is worth over $50 billion, with 2 mayor income streams.
The rst, live music, makes up over 50% of total revenues and consist mainly from sales of tickets
to live performances but also sponsoring.

There is an increase even in the pandemic years 2020 and 2021, and also after this.
