- Crece su aportación al PIB por la modernización y la productividad.

• Actividades que influyen en la calidad del paisaje y el medio
ambiente.
CONDICIONANTES NATURALES DEL ESPACIO AGRARIO
El medio natural español tiene en general condiciones poco favorables a la
actividad agraria.
RELIEVE: Elevada altitud media con fuertes pendientes, que aceleran la
erosión y son un freno a la mecanización.
CLIMA: Precipitaciones escasas e irregulares (granizo), heladas, sequías,
olas de frío o calor.
AGUAS: Escasez e irregularidad de las precipitaciones.
VEGETACIÓN: Muy degradada o eliminada, lo que impide el desarrollo
de la ganadería o la explotación forestal.
Los condicionantes naturales adversos cada vez son mejor solventados por
los avances técnicos: invernaderos, abonos, etc.

• Escasa, el 4,4% en 2014, y el 4,1% en 2019. Con contrastes que van del
0,5% en Madrid al 10% en Extremadura.
• Envejecida y masculinizada.
• Éxodo rural: Entre 1960 y 1975 debido a la mecanización agraria y la
industrialización y urbanización del país. A partir de los años noventa
se reduce el éxodo y aumenta la ocupación agraria a tiempo parcial.
En las áreas agrarias atrasadas descenso y envejecimiento.
En las áreas agrarias dinámicas recuperación y rejuvenecimiento.
SISTEMA DE PROPIEDAD y EXPLOTACIÓN
Propiedad agraria: Conjunto de parcelas pertenecientes a un propietario.
Explotación agraria: Conjunto de parcelas gestionadas por un mismo titular o
explotador agrario, independientemente si son suyas o no.
